Joanne E. Howard Class of 1972

Ms. Howard is Director of Administration for the Northwestern University School of Law. She is responsible for the budget, personnel, purchasing, mail/copy services, and logistics for the 13th ranked law school in the country (U.S. News and World Report). Ms. Howard previously worked for The University of Chicago as the Director of Administrative Services, and the Chicago Urban League as an Evaluation Specialist.

Ms. Howard is a graduate of Hampton Institute in Virginia where she completed a degree in Sociology. She has a Master of Arts Degree from The University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Ms. Howard attended the Inter-American University in Saltillo, Mexico where she earned a certificate in Spanish.

Ms. Howard and her husband, Phillip R. Donaldson, reside in Chicago, Illinois.
