Catherine Whister Wetterling

Mrs. Catherine Whister Wetterling is a graduate of William MacFarland High School, Class of 1935.  She continued her education at Lebanon Valley College (Bachelor of Arts), and received her Library Science degree from Drexel University in 1940.
 Following her graduation from college, Mrs. Wetterling gained employment as high school librarian at Upper Freehold High School, 1940-1941, and Bordentown High School, 1941-1943. In addition, she served as Government Documents Assistant at Princeton University, and Technical Services Coordinator at the New Jersey State Library.  From 1957 to 1978, she held the position of Library Director at Burlington County Library, Mt. Holly.
 Mrs. Wetterling was a member of the American Library Association, New Jersey Library Association, and Bordentown Historical Society.  She has also been listed in Who’s Who in American Women and Who’s Who in Library Service.
