The REC Foundation is proud to partner with Great Minds inSTEM™. Great Minds in STEM™ is the gateway for Hispanics in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Established in 1989, as HENAAC, Great Minds in STEM™ is a non-profit organization that focuses on STEM educational awareness programs for students from kindergarten to career. The HENAAC Scholars Program addresses the immense need that the United States has to produce more domestic engineers and scientists. The goal of the program is to ensure STEM college retention with a 3.0 grade point average or higher; to guarantee college graduation with an undergraduate technical degree in four-five years; and, to contribute to Hispanic communities by producing STEM role models for future generations and securing the country’s place as the finest technological leader in the world. Scholarships range from $500-$10,000.

The Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver offers multiple scholarships to admitted students totaling $250,000. Scholarships range in value and are based on either financial need or academic merit. Applicants must be enrolled in an engineering or computer science field to qualify.

National Society of Black Engineers

The REC Foundation is proud to partner with The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) in support of robotics programs for students in the United States. NSBE provides 47 scholarships totaling over $250,000 annually. Students must be members of NSBE to be eligible for the scholarships.
