Calvin Moon

Dr. Calvin Moon, V.M.D. is a graduate of William MacFarland High School, Class of 1942. Following graduation, he spent a year at Rutgers on a state scholarship.  From 1943 – 46, Dr. Moon served in the United States Navy Submarine Service.

He returned to Rutgers and graduated cum laude with a BS in Agricultural Research.  From 1948-1952, Dr. Moon attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating cum laude.  Presently, he is affiliated with the Hamilton Veterinary Hospital.

His many community and civic activities include church vestryman, scoutmaster, board of education member, planning board member, member of Submarine Veterans of World War II, past president of Central New Jersey Veterinary Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and the Bordentown Rotary Club, member of the NJVMA executive board and the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Veterinary Education, 1979 Veterinarian of the Year for Central New Jersey, founded Hamilton Veterinary Hospital and co-founded Columbus Central Veterinary Hospital and Robbinsville Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Moon and his wife, June, are the parents of four children, one boy and three girls.
